Hospitality for wine tourists involves: tours of the vineyards and wineries, visits to the company’s museums, professional and detailed tutored tastings and matching wines with typical local food products.
For other companies, we have available comfortable and technologically-equipped spaces that will render your meetings, conventions and seminars pleasant and efficient.
Hospitality for all of the Zonin family’s Estates is coordinated by staff at the company’s historic headquarters in Gambellara.

One can visit the winery, taking a tour amidst huge casks and barriques, in order to understand the techniques and the secrets regarding the maturation of wine, as well as the methods for drying the grapes and vinifying Recioto di Gambellara D.O.C.G. and the other local wines of the Gambellara zone.
One starts off in the “historic” underground barrel cellar, built at the beginning of the 20th century by Commendator Domenico Zonin, where the company’s outstanding reds are aged using the traditional techniques of Italian oenology. Here one finds the large casks of Slavonian oak where the wine reposes for years in total silence.
This is followed by the “Berengario” barrique cellar, devoted to the maturation of the wine of the same name, a very characterful red obtained from the classic Bordeaux blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Of more recent construction is the “Domenico Zonin” barrique cellar, where the technical staff carries out experimentation in order to make an ever more informed choice of the type of oak to be used during the ageing phase so as to obtain the highest level of quality possible.
And finally there is “the vat cellar”, devoted exclusively to the maturation of Recioto di Gambellara D.O.C.G., a historic dessert and “meditation” wine that was already famous in the 14th century, as documented by Pier Crescenzio in his treatise “De Agricoltura”.
The exhibit entitled “The story of the vines, men and lands of the Zonin family” takes the visitor on an exhilarating tour that recounts history from the origins of the Zonin company, way back in 1821, to the purchase of the family’s 10 grape-growing estates.
Through the carefully designed and atmospheric interplay of lights, furnishings and photographs, the tour engrosses the visitor in the charming environment of the Ca’ Bolani Estate in Friuli, then in the aristocratic Tuscan landscapes of Castello d’Albola, then in the luminous surroundings of Feudo Principi di Butera. All this allows our guests to discover the areas, stories and people that lie behind the success of one of Italy’s most important private wine companies.
In the Museum one can also admire the collections of corkscrews, of splendid, refined Murano glassware, and of edicts regarding wine that cover a period of almost four hundred years, from the 1600s to the early 20th century. There is also a display of ancient winemaking and agricultural equipment that was in use in the Veneto in the last few hundred years.

The company’s historic headquarters contains an attractive wine shop where one can taste and purchase the wines, olive oils and grappas produced on the Zonin family’s Estates.
There are a large number of wines, made from both indigenous and international grape varieties, offering an almost endless range of taste sensations.
The sommelier in charge of the wine shop is at visitors’ disposal to provide information about cultivation, vinification and maturation methods for each individual wine and to suggest the most appropriate food and wine matches.
The Wine Shop is always open from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; from October to December and from April to June it is also open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
