On October 6th 2013 Gianni Zonin - Philately Enthusiast and President of Casa Vinicola Zonin - opened to the public his precious and rich collection of stamps, all dedicated to the theme of vine and wine.
More than 15.000 stamps from 201 Countries have been organized in a permanent exhibition in our headquarter in Gambellara, fully integrated in the Casa Vinicola Zonin Wine Museum.
In the Museum one can admire interesting collections, like the one of corkscrews, of splendid, refined Murano glassware, or of edicts regarding wine that cover a period of almost four hundred years, from the 1600s to the early 20th century. There is also a display of ancient winemaking and agricultural equipment that was in use in the Veneto in the last few hundred years. And now our visitors can enjoy an incredible number of beautiful and rare stamps, divided into several sections, from Archeological elements, to Bacchus representations, to glasses, seasons, wine travels, etcetera.
